Bow tie

Having clothes made of animal leather or fur is an obvious indicator of wealth. But what if we try to imagine it being more hypertrophied? What if our society evolved in such a way, that we'd not only use expensive and comfortable clothing, but also clothes that would rarely last more than a day. You would have to buy a new bow tie like this every day. Does it sound expensive enough?

P.S. In Russian a word "bow tie" is pronounced and written the same way as a word "butterfly".
